Case study homes

The Target 2050 homes project has worked with householders across Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire and Wiltshire to show how we can reduce carbon emissions from existing homes.


Each of the case study homes presented here has been assessed using the Government’s Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP). The savings data is based on a standard occupancy pattern which may not reflect the actual usage pattern of the building's current residents. Standardising the occupancy pattern enables us to compare very different properties on a like-for-like basis, only taking into account the building itself, not the occupants and whether they are using the home efficiently or not.
